Create & Cultivate Digital Summit
Good Morning Friends!
At the start of this new journey into blogging, I became overwhelmed with where I was going to start. I have always been a life long learner, but this is new industry for me and there was just so much content - it was almost like on overload.
Scrolling through Instagram I saw a post from Lo Bosworth for a Create & Cultivate Digital Summit surrounding self care and wellness. On a whim, I decided to sign up. In person summits are usually harder for me to attend with work and financials, but a digital summit sounded like just what I needed to embark on this next chapter. In addition to the summit, I located an online content bundle where for 100$ I would have access to 75+ courses as well as digital memberships to entrepreneur platforms. Create and Cultivate just happened to be one of those platforms. Logging into the platform I immediately felt connected to an incredible group of strong entrepreneurs carving their way through this complex world to build their legacy. I could not wait to see what the summit would have for me. I set my intention to attend the summit to just embrace, learn, and grow.
The morning of the summit came and I was PUMPED. I saw on the schedule such influencers like Tyra Banks, Hunter McGrady, and of course Lo Bosworth. I joined the slack channel, set my agenda for the live vs. recorded sessions, and got my note book and pens ready for the day. I even made a plan to order Chipotle for my husband and I so I could focus on this event. The schedule was PACKED. We had sessions on starting out, disrupting the industry, focusing on your true self, and even workouts. What an incredible experience, and we were able to be so connected while being remote. During the sessions we could connect with the speakers or discuss among each other in our slack channels. For me, this is exactly what I needed. I was longing to be a part of a community since switching to remote and being in quarantine. Being able to share this incredible day with other like minded women put a light back into my soul. A light that is ready to #burnbright.
That night when the summit came to a close, I took a moment to reflect. I was so grateful that I was given the opportunity to do something for myself. Quarantine is hard - I miss the family and friends I was so connected with, but from this experience I was introduced to a community I could connect with. I was also inspired to do more with my life. This experienced cemented into me that I can go forward and share my story. I feel grounded in knowing that if I want the world to change, I need to be that change and provide that support for others going through similar struggles. Lastly, I really realized I can do this, and I am not afraid.
The next day I started to incorporate the following into my journey:
Affirmations
Guided Meditation
More Social Media Posts
I highly recommend the community of Create & Cultivate - this platform is life changing.
